Vinny has been told of the immediate future, he likes it, he likes it a fucking lot....

Haha. I thought I was the only one who saw that quote and thought "Oh yes". It was the "if you knew...." bit that caught my eye ;-)
- source please- what quote?

The quote where Vinny was talking about plans for the academy and the facilities as reasons to stay when asked about the Barca rumours.

Maybe even McClaren hasnt he won a Dutch title like de boer.
That's a great call tcm. Maybe he could bring Afonso Alves with him; he banged them in for fun in the Dutch league.

You're talking about managers with a similar level of ability to Mancini here, lads.

If we replace him this summer we must get an upgrade.

Stop it.... my eyes are hurting from laughing... same level as our most successful manager for over 40 yrs... De Boer & McLaren.... ?

Be interesting to see what he says before/after the Madrid game tomorrow. The timing of the announcement is appalling and surely designed to unsettle Dortmund as much as possible.

Very Raggish. Very Bayern. I am generally indifferent about clubs on the continent but I genuinely dislike Bayern.

I hope Dortmund and Bayern get through to the final, with Dortmund scoring the a controversial winning goal in injury time. Seeing them choke would give me great satisfaction.

What I am interested in seeing is how good Klopp really is as a manager.
Dortmund are losing Gotze and Lewandoski is likely off. Two huge players for Dortmund.

They may well replace them with Dzeko and someone else but still will be interesting to see if Klopp is as good as people think he is or if the team is just fantastic and he is just a decent manager.

Emotionally devastating news for BVB fans (I've just come from checking some online fan boards). Zorc will have to take the fall for this, having just concluded the new contract with The Other Mario. First Kagawa, then Mario G., and soon Lewa...ouch. However, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them put that 32 million to really good use. At least now they will have plenty of dosh to pay for Edin, eh?! Despite his automaton-like performances recently, I think if he stayed, he would flourish under a different manager, especially if some genuine width were provided. If we must sell him, however, I want 27 million from BVB, minimum. With another 10 million or so, we'd have a realistic shot at Cavani, who would be an absolute monster in English football.

-- Tue Apr 23, 2013 3:58 am --

With Dortmund confirming the sale of Gotze to Bayern, and the strong rumours being that Lewandowski will follow, surely Klopp can be tempted away from Dortmund with the right project ie. the City one. Ticks every box for a guy like him apart from being in the Bundesliga, and from our point of view he certainly ticks every box in terms of a successor for Mancini.

Be interesting to see what he says before/after the Madrid game tomorrow. The timing of the announcement is appalling and surely designed to unsettle Dortmund as much as possible.

I think Kicker and Bild were the first two media organs to disseminate this, Billy.

Crepes for breakfast?

It's all de beurre!

C'mon, fellas. Less of the wind-ups, please. Vinny wouldn't be ecstatic if we brought in De Boer. Mourihno, and maybe Klopp and Pellegrini, you could understand but not a manager who doesn't have experience of managing a top team in one of Europe's premier leagues. Unless he does dislikes Mancini a great deal...

Give it a rest, you're a bore
Pick a flaw with any of my posts on these last 10 pages. I will look forward to countering.

Answer this with a clear head please. Tell me what is different here to his time at inter?

History is repeating itself, it always does.

Jose may not be our replacement but one thing is for sure, Mancini has hit the wall but the marathon ain't finished yet. Lescott upfront, 3-5-2, public condemnation of players and colleagues, conceding a title by Feb basically, crashing out last in CL group behind a team costing less than Sinclair. I could go on and on and it paid me to type it because even though I'm making a point I'm knocking my club and that's not my intention. Mancini is fucking fortunate to have us fans who've been used to served tripe, he fortunate to follow on from Hughes, he's fortunate to have great backers.

It's clear, Mancini really isn't the man for the future. He said he has plans after us and this Ferguson esque dynasty some want wont happen with him and that's from his own mouth. Let's cut the time span down and move on now. Why delay the inevitable?

I'm tripe at Poetry, I spent my youth staring at Mrs Kilburns fantastic set of tits yet still escaped with a B in GCSE.

Anyway here's something for you.

Scarf glitters in breeze
Wonder who next to blame
I know Marwood
