Derby day tomorrow guys, just saying, is it too much to ask that this place just gets behind our lads for once, if this place represents the fans god help us

Again, the point is missed. Did we win the things because of Mancini or in spite of him? I think the latter.

If that was the case, why bother with a manager at all?

We could do better than Mancini, and we could have a manager that does far better with his players. Nearly everyone sees it outside of City and that isn't because "they all hate us because we've got loads of money and they're all mean, nasty and horrible men!"

Quite a lot outside City still think we have players just here for the money and with no team spirit in the camp. They also think that Mancini is rubbish. They also think that when a rubbish manager doesn't win every game with his mercenary squad just here for the money it constitutes a crisis. In short, you should probably pay less attention to people who don't really know too much about the club.
I'm sure there are a lot of people outside of our club that don't like Mancini. I'd place the likes of Bacon Roll, Whinger and every other top flight manager in there, with every single one of their fans.

Every other fan is biased, just like we wear our Blue tints. Why on earth would they say Mancini is a good manager when they can put our success solely down to the money.

I've spoke to many genuine supporters who had nothing but praise for Mancini, sometimes waking me up to the reallities of pre-takeover. Some have said that his CL exploit with us this year was very poor but overall the level he has took us to is more than any City fan can expect at this moment in time.

Saying that, what would they know.

By getting behind the lads do you mean wanting them to win?

If so, I'm in. Any other takers?

Embarrassing this place at times, no bloody wonder no atmosphere at home games

Well, if we win we can all say that this thread helped to give the manager/team a kick up the ass. If we lose, it'll just be a 'told you so', so no harm done.

And I very much doubt that threads like this really represent the boys and girls at the game.

That's actually, imo, a relatively reasonable post however you've blown any credibility you may have wished to have with your nonsense comment about "losing tomorrow being for the best".

It 'might' be for the best in the long run. I never said I actually really want us to lose. I certainly don't. A defeat by Watford in the Cup would do it better!:)

And that is an absolute staple reply that you have come up with to feebly justify yourself to the public when, in reality, you haven't got any reasoned response to my points.

I've got reasoned responses to your points. I just don't think they deserve reasoned responses because they're extremist and daft. I don't take your opinion seriously therefore I find it hard to motivate myself enough to tell you why you're wrong, I expect you to already know.

Most of your post was drivel. Some of it was uninformed, other bits were cliche without backing, others were logical fallacies such as the argument from populus that you poted earlier, some of them are ad-hoc fallacies.

To cut it short, I recognise your post is almost laughably bad reasoning and so do that many others that I see no need to correct you.

He's clearly got your back up mate. But to be fair, there's some reasonable and reasoned points in that post. Clearly there's zero obligation to respond to it, but your "it's all bollocks" reply doesn't remotely cut it. Plainly, it is not all bollocks.

It's amazing how a "might not be such a bad thing" has turned into an actively wanting us to lose.

Mind you, when people haven't got the ability to actually form reasoned responses to points made then I suppose it is no surprise that reading things correctly is a little too difficult.

For one I would love us to win because I've been a season ticket holder for 33 years (cock measuring quote, I know!) and it's a rather large part of my life, but the bigger picture is that I would rather see my team win the league multiple times rather than just the once. If that is something that needs addressing now for a better future then so be it. I think it is, you think it doesn't.

I will be celebrating like anyone else if we win tomorrow, but if we lose, and it will seem like a small consolation at the time, but the positive I will take out of it is that a change of managerial direction will probably give us a greater chance of further success in future.
