Give it a rest, you're a bore
Pick a flaw with any of my posts on these last 10 pages. I will look forward to countering.

Answer this with a clear head please. Tell me what is different here to his time at inter?

History is repeating itself, it always does.

Jose may not be our replacement but one thing is for sure, Mancini has hit the wall but the marathon ain't finished yet. Lescott upfront, 3-5-2, public condemnation of players and colleagues, conceding a title by Feb basically, crashing out last in CL group behind a team costing less than Sinclair. I could go on and on and it paid me to type it because even though I'm making a point I'm knocking my club and that's not my intention. Mancini is fucking fortunate to have us fans who've been used to served tripe, he fortunate to follow on from Hughes, he's fortunate to have great backers.

It's clear, Mancini really isn't the man for the future. He said he has plans after us and this Ferguson esque dynasty some want wont happen with him and that's from his own mouth. Let's cut the time span down and move on now. Why delay the inevitable?

One man's bore is another man's disappointed fan.

Have you forgotten about Reus, mate?

Wrong team.

As Del Trotter would say "A-Jax"

Be interesting to see what he says before/after the Madrid game tomorrow. The timing of the announcement is appalling and surely designed to unsettle Dortmund as much as possible.

Very Raggish. Very Bayern. I am generally indifferent about clubs on the continent but I genuinely dislike Bayern.

I hope Dortmund and Bayern get through to the final, with Dortmund scoring the a controversial winning goal in injury time. Seeing them choke would give me great satisfaction.

I agree about Bayern. Saddens me that Dortmund don't have the power to tell Gotze there's no way in hell they'll sell to Bayern. With Lewandowski almost nailed on to follow come the end of the season I just don't see what Dortmund's game is. Selling your best players out of the league to raise the revenue to rebuild the squad I get. Selling your best players to your nearest rival so they're stronger and you're weaker is just insanity.

The real shame will be if this announcement has a negative effect upon their performance against Madrid. I certainly think it'll be incredibly problematic for Klopp to pick Gotze to play. If I were in his shoes I'd be having my agent sounding out Madrid/Chelsea/City because Dortmund will be taking an enormous step backwards this summer. His reputation is at hit's peak right now.

I fucking hate "win percentages" and I really fucking hate "pass completions".

Another weird current trend amongst nu-internet-football-fans.

Next time someone puts some stupid, contextless stat up to prove that Mancini is actually the best manager in the world, I'm going to collate a "pounds spent per point" table up to "prove" he's actually the worst manager in the world.

Just glancing at the site and thought I'd come out of retirement to show you this:

<a class="postlink" href="http://transferpriceindex.com/2012/07/the-201112-update-to-the-all-time-best-managers-versus-the-mxir-model/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://transferpriceindex.com/2012/07/t ... xir-model/</a>

People actually do bother researching these things, and on the basis of money spent:points earned when equalised for inflation, Mancini is the third best manager in Premier League history. Funnily enough, above Mourinho.

Those stats only contribute data from last season so with this season's performance I imagine that he's slipped to fourth but just thought I'd log in and counter a badly made point.

Off I go back into the ether...

You beat me too it. What makes DD's point even worse is that this stat has been shown to him and others before and DD either didn't understand or chose to ignore. Then he actually brings it up as a defence!

Just goes to show that whatever you say or Mancini does, or even if Bob comes out 4th on DD's own criteria, DD's mind's made up.

At the end of the day opinions are subjective and people can ignore the objective figures if it doesn't fit their opinion. Very rarely will anyone say they got it wrong.

Haha. I thought I was the only one who saw that quote and thought "Oh yes". It was the "if you knew...." bit that caught my eye ;-)
- source please- what quote?

The quote where Vinny was talking about plans for the academy and the facilities as reasons to stay when asked about the Barca rumours.
sorry but where is the interview?

So we're spending time making up songs to ridicule our manager now, oh dear.

It really is quite sad isn't it? Who needs opposition fans eh?

Part of a predictable and pathetic campaign. The cabal have been quiet for a couple of weeks because our team have had a good run of results. That the cabal would be out in force this week was predicted as we lost a match and our main opposition won the league. As a result they crawl out to plie derision on the manager of our own team.

Dismal starts with his arrogant and (in his own mind) clever comments....Billy BS comes in as the supprt act and then L Ron Tolmie provides the 'ITK' sparkle. If you challenge, L Rons brother starts to PM you making pathetic school boy threats. That's how it tends to work.

The truth is that it doesn't matter who the manager is as this group will only ever be happy when Dismal, Billy or L Ron are appointed manager as they know better than anyone else. This will never happen as the rest of the football world don't accept that they are the football experts that they are in their own minds
