Come tomorrow the papers will be full of the goings on at OT instead of the weekly 'dig' at City and some of our players.
Hopefully the lads can go to Villa with a clear mind while the press have a field day with other things. This is what Utd have done for years while the Chelsea's, Arsenals and Liverpools have all been falling out Utd have gone on about their work, that is what we must do tomorrow, the press will be all over the OT game and by the looks of it the Chelsea manager again, we must take advantage of such times.

Good Luck to the lads and for those who are going back them all the way to 3pts.

thing is it will be all liverpools fault then it will be put in the mixer churned a few times then used to motivate the medias darlings on to there next title, that interviewer was a c==t with dalglish

I doubt the sports pages of the tabloid press or the semi-coherent ramblings of some gutter journalists on Sky Sports have any impact whatsoever on our players and their mindset. If they do, I'd be very worried.

City's just got to 'copy' United's results until derby, then beat them and we're champs!! come on!!!!

The Rag media will always be able to divert the assassination of Ghandi, the sinking of the Titanic, the Norman Conquest and the American Civil War into an anti-MCFC slant!

I await tomorrow to see how Henry Winter blames Mancini for Abe Lincoln going to the theatre!

I understand where the OP is coming from, not just tomorrow but for the next week or so the papers will be full of stuff about the rags and scousers.

It won't do us any harm to be out of the spotlight for a bit.

Surely a combination of failing to control their players, fighting in the tunnel & Fergiescums comments bringing the game into disrepute should result in a large number of bans and possible points deductions???

Serious question though - if there is a fight in the tunnel at half-time in front of the match officials, how can it still be eleven v eleven in the second half? Surely at least one player must have been guilty of violent conduct and it doesn't matter that the half-time whistle had blown (remember Barton at Spuds)??

errr, then match their result when we play newcastle, 5 points clear with 6 points to play for would not make us champions.

Yes, both the Arse and Rags had points deducted after a notorious game in the not too distant past (can't recall the year). I think Arse had 2 points deducted and the Rags 1.
