Why we will win the league!

It won't kill me if we don't win it. The times we haven't won it under Pep we have come back the next season and been dominant. Also, the Dippers going level with the Rags on 20 would be piss funny. As long as they don't also win the CL.......
I also feel, after tonight that it might go that way - I'll settle for the CL but prefer to beat the Dippers on the way in the Prem too.

does feel like liverpool game will decide it, if we win I think thats it, if its a draw then its still sweaty but we'd have the upper hand. Lose and its theirs. The gas they'd get from that win would carry them to the end. Superbowl time.

I think we'll lose it.

This is not me being negative. It is certainly not that I am not supporting our team, which of course I will do to the end.

It is merely what I think will happen. The world will keep spinning. I am OK with it. I just think that the way we're playing and have been playing for the past couple of months, combined with their hunger having lost out to us more often than not, and Pep's er "questionable" performance in must-win head-to-heads (think CL final, numerous CL knockout games, derbies etc) means that we will IMO likely lose to the dippers at home and IMO they will drop no more points that us in the run in.

Sorry about that. Please don't shoot me, it's just what I think.
I agree, I think we’ll lose it aswell, hugely disappointing

I don't think they've closed a big gap. It was always a 6 point gap coz we had played more games.

That said, I think we looked better against CP early than we have in most recent games. But we've slowed down a bit and there's no variety to our game anymore.

They have equally been less effective even though they've have kept winning. Good effort in their part. We just need to get back to a bit more intense and controlled football.

Teams are pressing us now. So we really don't have an excuse anymore.
Seen a couple of posts on here suggesting it was only ever a 6 point gap.
After the home win over Chelsea the table read:

City P 22, GD 42, PTS 56
Chelsea P 22, GD 28, PTS 43
Liverpool P20, GD 34, PTS 42

No matter which way you look at this it is an 8 point gap at the least, and a pretty substantial lead with 16 games remaining and having played every 'top 6' team away from home.
Since then 7 points have been dropped in 7 games playing only two teams from top 10 in the process. This is not league winning form. By no means am I saying city won't or aren't capable to go on and win it, but surely questions have to be asked how from the position City were in after Chelsea thats its got to this?

50/50 for me. That point the other night could be crucial as I do think their goal difference will be better than ours. Watford at home next. Six clean sheets in seven in the league. They have all the momentum currently.
