Not even against City?Apparently They’ve been dropping points every game for the last month or so , still waiting for it to happen. Hope I’m wrong but I have the feeling they won’t.

I'd be more confident if we were scoring goals I know we scored 4 against the rags but how many chances do we miss it's ridiculousThis thread did a great job back in 18/19, but are we going to bump it every time we are in a tight title race (with Liverpool)? Let's not get superstitious.
Trust the team, that's all. By my lights, this team is for the biggest games and is likely to win the game vs Liverpool.
If we don't win the title, then we don't deserve it. But we may win the CL deservedly, so there's that as well.
Exactly this. I actually think the international break comes at exactly the right time as well for both players and fans. Reset and refocus, it's not the season we thought it was in January, but everything is still to play for and with a clear head they've got "momentum" but we've got a slight advantage in games and points, but there are massive, nervy games to come for both clubs. There are quarter finals to play and a league to win. I think there is every chance that us and Liverpool share the silverware left on the table, and it's up to us to grab as many of them as we can. And remember, Liverpool fans cover their anxiety in bravado where City fans cover it in gallows humour and pessimism - they're as nervous as we are.Think I am missing something - if someone said you have a nine game season - 2 horse race. You are given a one point head start and the team who you are up against have to come to yours. Amongst the other games you have to play are Brighton, Watford and Newcastle and Villa at home and Burnley and Leeds away. The team you are up against have a Derby, Spurs and United at home and have to go to Southampton and Villa.
I think I would fancy our chances? Reading the papers and on here you would think it is over?
Bring it on.
It's football so it's all in context mate, I'm worried on a football level as they are a rival these days and them winning a quadruple would be a nightmare. If you think anything Liverpool do will be forgotten with the red loving media I think you are wrong - it will be wall to wall documentaries.Fella chill out! Whatever happens it all starts again in August, and again the following August, and has been doing so for well over 100 years. People who fretted on our title wins of 37 and 68 are almost all dead. You, and I suspect most like you are being brainwashed by the Sky/Media echo chamber that being this year's champions is the most important thing known to man when frankly we can clearly see that in just 2 months time it will be nothing more than a name of a team on a trophy next to the numbers 2021/22. Who, other than United fans gives a toss about the 99 Treble anymore? Who other than Arsenal fans give a toss about the invincibles? The fact is even the players aren't even that bothered unless it impacts on their egos. In short, what will be will be and it will soon be forgotten just like every other result, trophy or title that's ever gone before.
Top of the league, favourites for the CL and you’d be happy with the FA Cup? That’s probably the one we’ll fall short on as Pep is gunning for the big one, whilst trying to get the club over the line in the league.Right now I would be happy with the fa cup. Liverpool have invested in the right areas we haven’t.
we have made 1 step forward & 2 back in my opinion this season. The Kane fiasco really set us back.
Having no striker will cost us from this point as we will be up against difficult teams & big time players in champs league.
The lack of subs by pep is very strange. we have some players now slowing down at the wrong time. Raz gets in England team but can’t get in city makes little sense when games are 0-0.

We could be playing Liverpool 3 times in 2 weeks if we draw them in the CL. One after the other.

Agree with nearly all of that apart from when they play Villa away and Stevie G will roll over.Think I am missing something - if someone said you have a nine game season - 2 horse race. Really good post that.I am not worried if we lose the league to Liverpool, if they win it they will have deserved it. I look on this City team with pride as they go out and try and win every game in the right way.
Yes it can be frustrating and we have obviously missed a centre-forward but the inventiveness and desire to win is second to none.
I still believe we will win the league but there should be no blame attached as the club and team have given everything to try and achieve this
Yes spot on. I felt the same after Chelsea but the dipper winning run has knocked me for 6.Of course you are right
But it's the loss of a significant points lead that is getting in the heads of people, and no doubt to some extent getting in the heads of the players, they're only human!!
I don't mind admitting that after beating Chelsea on Jan 15th, I thought it was over
Super post. All we can ask for is to be in the mix every season for titles and cups and we’ve been doing that consistently. Winning any trophies is a great bonusI am not worried if we lose the league to Liverpool, if they win it they will have deserved it.
