How can we use the negredo sale in january when he wont officially be sold until the summer?

No matter the status of the striker I hope gone are the days when a striker with at least one title to his name will be sold off for peanuts no matter the baggage.
Juventus must have been laughing when we sold Tevez for what we did.
Should have asked for and received at least twice what they paid for him.
We will end up getting Bony for between 25 mill and 30 mill with an add on.
25 mill for Negredo is fair enough.
According to Ian Cheesman, on last weeks Blue Tuesday, provided no players are sold, the FFP regs will come back to bite us on the arse again if we spend more than £17m in this current transfer window.
I know their are rumours about Nasty & Sinclair moving, but with all due respect, there's no way that both of their transfer fees combined will net us enough to complete the Bony deal so I guess it is certain to be a current first team squad member that departs.
of those rumoured to be on their way out I Cant see Dzeko or Jovetic leaving as we would be back to sqare one in terms of having only 3 front line strikers to pick from. (Besides, I suspect, any club enquiring about Steven would site his injury record and want him on the cheap)
If it were up to me I would much rather we offloaded Navas to raise the rest of the money, however, with his omission from the starting line up at Everton yesterday, a contract with City currently (not on offer?) unsigned and a bid from the candle dippers, supposedly, pending I suspect that Jimmy will be the player that's shipped out.
Sadly, somone who's true value to this club will only be fully realised (particularly by those at management & board level) once he's been allowed to go.
We wouldn't be after the likes of Bony and others if we knew it was going to impinge on our Chump League Squad and make up of home grown players for League and Chumps League next season.
To say the restrictions when it comes to ownership structures like PSG and City are bemusing at best is understating the obvious but nevertheless we have paid our penance this year and it will be full steam ahead in the summer.
Its one thing having the funds to make your squad stronger but its not a given that you will spend well and the new players will hit the premiership running or the manager will ensure he gets the best with what he has.
Yes will we let players go that have little chance of getting significant game time or want to leave the club for whatever reason.
Maybe Milner falls into that later category and we don't stand in the way of players who see their future outside City but we are now able to play hard ball with our valuation and so we should as in the past we haven't done so without those restrictions to the best of our ability.
In short we have been soft selling players for under value and buying in the main at over value.
Those days should be gone as Sinclair , Nasty and Milner should he want to go will find out.
Bony obviously wants to come to us , we want him and Swansea have consented to sell him so notwithstanding a back flip from either party he will come but we rate Negredo in the same bracket so there will be little between the sale price of each player.

No. We have accounted the £24m Negredo fee apparently this year, which means we have a budget of around £35m without any sales, as we had £12m to spend before Negredo sale is taking in to account.Bentheblue said:It could be that we have to complete the sale of a player before we can buy, in order to stay within "fair play " rules.

We don't have to sell anyone if we sign Bony for under £35m.
