Swansea City have agreed to sell the striker Wilfried Bony to Manchester City for a fee of £25m which will rise to £28m. The striker is set to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal after the Welsh club became resigned to the fact their leading scorer was intent on leaving.

Manchester City have agreed an initial £25 million fee with Swansea City to sign Wilfried Bony, the Ivory Coast striker. The club expect to formally conclude the transfer in the next 72 hours after finally reaching an agreement with Swansea.
Under the terms of the deal, the Barclays Premier League champions will pay £25 million upfront for Bony with a further £3 million payable depending on the team’s success in the coming seasons

Fucking Great.

I think if anything it's slightly on the cheap side.

I agree, i really dont understand why everyone thinks were paying over the odds. Hes a proven PL goal scorer, not some random from France etc, hes only 26 and his attitude is spot on. People are still living in the past where 30M was a lot, thats a pretty standard amount for most top quality players these days.

Balotelli and Welbeck both just went for 16M and look at their contributions. Case closed

I don't know about cheap, but certainly not unjustified. He is after all the most prolific striker in the PL this past year. And we already have the bloke who is second on that list.

Seeing Kun and Bony playing together will be very interesting to say the least.
