I hope he does, looks like he is fired up in training and has something to proove whether that is to keep his place at City or get a dream move to R.Madrid.

Might be worth the risk playing our grafters in the midfield and bringing on a bit more flare later on if required.

Toure preferred to Lescott due to his mobility

Kolarov, kick up the arse and misses out on squad due to Boateng and Lescott being able to switch in at left back and across the back.

Richards is gagging for a game and his pace and aerial strength will be most important.

------------------Hart
--Richards--Toure--Kompany--Zabaleta--
----------------De Jong--------------------
---------Milner--Ya Ya--Barry----------
------------------Tevez--
-----------------Adebayor

Subs: Given, Boateng, Lescott, Vieira, Wright-Phillips, Johnson, Jo

This team for sure looks strong enough to pick up 3 points with good backing from away support!!

come on City

Ade will never play for City again imho.

Yup, his time at City is over. That's what happens when you sign mercenaries.

Thanks for the 40 odd million for those two thickheads, by the way.

Signing Ade was a mistake, signing Kolo was genius, your defence certainly could use a quality defender like Kolo these days.

The person you want to be thanking is now managing Fulham. I use the term managing loosely.

He's off mate.

Can't quite believe it, but Madrid looks increasingly likely.

He was never fit enough for this game and with an impending loan and further risk of an injury, added to personal security issues at Emirates, was told stay at home.

We definitely could, and that player is Thomas Vermaelen, the player signed to replace Kolo Toure and he was a revelation last season. Kolo's a legend in my eyes, and I have nothing but love for him, but with only 1 year left on his contract, we got a good deal on him.

Ade on the other hand....
