This is the first time in years that I’m actually excited about a transfer window!!

Normally we’re just adding stardust to an already brilliant squad, now because of poor recruitment we actually need to fill gaps in the squad,

…however it wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t strengthen in January, it’s difficult to get good value mid season.

I just hope we finish in the top 4, I think that would be success considering our current form!

Brighton have already signed a player and he starts Jan 1st. If we had anyone even remotely close to signing we would be in the same boat. It doesnt even appear like we have a clear strategy at the minute.

I'm not disagreeing we don't need that many, in fact I'd suggest a couple more. However, I don't see that happening in January. I think we try and shore up the midfield as a priority if possible. The squad planning for whatever reason hasn't been top of the list.

But it changed their fortunes, they then got Allison in summer and it completely changed them. Same for us in 17/18, Stones and Vinny kept getting injured and we relied on Otamendi so we spent the money and got Laporte in. The board are going to have to realise they'll need to spend, and spend big.
