Will Dunne get his place back ?

he`ll have to work hard and cut out the mistakes if he is to get back in,the squads getting stronger now and im sure they all realise if they play poorley someone else will take there place.

We'll miss Dunne against Stoke

Why do people question his passing ability? A fine footballer who can bet a man with his technique, and pick out a player from 50 yards. What Dunne has had a problem with is simple mistakes

It's anticipation and awareness that let's him down. How many time have we seen him flail a leg at a ball and it spoon off in some god awful direction or generally miss it. Sometimes it is like watching an elephant on stilts.

Good choice of words there

1 game a bit to soon to make a decision on vinny and ned. Played against a team with a crap forward line last night and our midfield broke up most of the play first half so they had little to do. Did no one notice vinny's dodgy back pass while under minimum pressure first half. So not only Dunne prone to lapses of concentration. By the time his ban is up might want him back. That's if we don't buy better in the mean time.

haha. that accurately describes him.

I am over the moon with Ned. So much speculation about the lad, and he has had no real chance to shine under Hughes yet because of his niggly injuries....

....he has grabbed the bull firmly by the horns this last 2 games, and looked quality alongside VK. With the emergence of Zab as a really fooking good DM, something has to give at CB....have a feeling it could be the Dunney Monster.

Let's not forget he's been our star man for the past fours years and deserves yet another chance when it arises and if he is putting in the work. It would be a bit weird for the squad to know the captain has been dropped like a stone perhaps...

fair play to ned tho he needed a chance to shine and long may it continue

No. If Kompany plays like that then there is not a cat in hells chance to be fair.

If Hughes has anything about him then he will pick players based on form, rather than on sentiment given that I believe this will be Dunnes last season for us. There is no room for sentiment in football - yes he has been here for donkeys years but at the end of the day he has made mistakes that have cost us points this season.

Kompany and Nedum played really well yesterday I thought.
