Will the U21 tourney exhaust Richards for next season?

He shouldn't even be on that team to be honest. Won't be surprised if it messes with his pre-season and he comes back injured. :/

he has only played 28 games this season barring he doesnt get injured it will do him the world of good.

Maybe you're right. The more experience he gets the better but he's above U21 quality and that's for sure.

As much as Micah has improved this season, he appears to have become somewhat injury prone. There are issues with his hamstrings and I would be surprised if he wasn't pulled from the U21's so he can have a rest through the summer.

I don't understand the benefit in him joining the squad. He has already played in numerous tournaments or the under 21s.

Fortunately RB is a position we can rotate in but still.

That's what I was originally thinking. That's why Arse and the Dippers have pulled Wilshere and Carroll out.

As much of a benefit that it /might/ be (I say might because U21 is a joke for Micah), there is liability and risk.

the fact capello keeps on ignoring him for England's full squad maybe he feels this is the next best for him at the moment is he not also the captain?

I cannot understand the idea that Wilshere is gonna be exhausted playing for the U21s. He jumps that ship and then boards the senior boat? And why would Micah not be similarly exhausted.

Wilshere is exhausted because he's played fifty games for The Arse!

Exhausted my arse! Just last week he said he was feeling perfectly fine. Arsenal just doesn't want him to have to play.

The senior boat plays less matches

Wilshere and Carroll are the nation's only concerns...the future of English footie.

"The two who a team can be built around for many years..."

Apparently.

I'm ecstatic, hope my fellow Englanders are as well.
