Will VAR lead to increased football violence?

I must admit yesterday was hard to take but lets focus on realities, it took VAR, a shit referee, ounces of luck for Spurs not to go home with a cricket score against them never mind 2 goals/2 shots and a draw.

We are the best team in this country by a country mile, the VAR will level out like other decisions do.

Nobody likes City,we continue to be the driving force, as the great boxer once said, "I should be a postage stamp. That's the only way I'll ever get licked."

It's an emotional game, but if you can't control your anger you need serious help and YOU are worse than VAR if you resort to violence.

If I was a Spurs fan I'd be delighted with yesterday's result, I wouldn't rub it in and I wouldn't expect another bloke caving my head either.

Emotion is swings and roundabouts, if we win this league, it'll be better than any other.

But do us all a favour, dont get all hissy and want to hurt someone because a game didn't go your way, stay away from the game, it's not yours to damage.
Don't condone violence but VAR is well on the way to driving people in that direction. I won't knock your Sumday morning sermon but I hope you have the same reasoned detached rationality if the shite we witnessed yesterday continues.

Like everyone, I was pissed as hell. Having seen the disallowed goal on match of the day, I am a bit less pissed. I can understand with the new handball rule how it was chalked off. If we want something to blame let’s blame that a fekin stupid rule change. My optimistic nature hopes that further rule changes will be brought in to address stuff that doesn’t feel right just now; var needs to be more transparent, the ref needs to be miked, offside needs to be clear instead of cms, the var team needs to address blatant stuff like the penalty claim yesterday. If all those things happened then the game would be saved. They have to learn and react. If they blatantly cheat week after week then football will die and there is too much money at stake to let that happen.

Meanwhile, we, the poor match going fan need to be strong, to adapt to what is happening and to continue to support our team. Talk of violence is bloody nonsense. We are not children ffs. After all is said and done, City did more than Var to allow 2points to be dropped. Numerous chances missed and handed them two soft goals whilst totally dominating the game. I know that’s what Pep will be most ariated about.

It needs sorting. Wait until the dippers get denied a last minute winner or equalizer at Anfield and it kills their title challenge or knocks them out of a cup, carnage. Why does the cynic in me think it won't happen though?
Because it won't happen

Sorry mate don't agree. City won the match fair and square

Turn on the TV and the first words I hear are "so the champions slipped up" and see European champions Liverpool winning with Mane scoring

Actually dreading work and will just have to say go away I don't want to talk about football as it will make me angry

FFS Grow up!!

Sunday sermon because I'd rather not see a mass brawl and someone in A&E/ICU/dead....Take a breath and listen to yourself...

Stop blaming VAR. It's a bloke watching the telly. It's not some automated computer program that we have no control over. Do I think think there's an agenda against City? No. Do I think City were shafted? Absolutely.
No on field ref would have given that decision even if he'd seen it.but the coward behind the screen did. Because no one knows who the fck it is.

The result says they didn’t. We can’t change that. I think the Rodri lack of penalty was the worse VAR decision. I need to look at the Jesus Goal again when I get home but from what I saw on MOTD although harsh, I can see how it would be disallowed. My point is though, as fans we need to give it time, changes need to be made to the current format to make it work fairly. But just as important, we need to be more clinical and defend better. Talk of violence is just poor. As a fan base we are better than that.
