Can we beat them? Absolutley
Will we beat them? More than likely, there a good side but Barcelona they are not. Galatasary gave them a game in Germany with 10men and after riding their luck Galatasary had a last minute goal dissallowed(wrongly) so I dont know what everyone is worrying about? Last night was last night put it down to experience and move on.
The competition starts now! If the 8 teams left in this tournement arent bad but neither are we, I cannot imagine when the draw was made a big scream of 'YES we've got the Man City whipping boys' being heard in the living rooms of Hamburg. Make no mistake we are the team NO-ONE wanted to play!!

everything imo depends on the away leg,leave there still in touching distance and i fancy us.on our turf were a match for most teams and with a whopping 28000 behind us we cant go wrong!C'MON CITY

The last 8 are fairly evenly matched. We have the squad and the capability to win this as much as any of the remaining teams and as the footballing gods do appear to be smiling on us (at least in Europe anyway) I think we can afford to be a tad optimistic - but not too optimistic as those footballing gods are fickle bastards.

yea, think we pull out a performance. score draw away from home and 2-1 at home. we have to play well, play to our potential and we will win the cup.

Hamburg are 4th in the Bundsliga , but level on points with the 2nd and 3rd placed sides(Wolfsburg/Bayern) ...... only Schalke , of all teams , have conceded less than Hamburgs nine goals at home ....... Hamburg have won 10 of their 12 home games , but have only won 4 of their 12 away games .
So it's pretty clear to me that this tie is gonna be a very tough one , and being at home in the 2nd leg could turn out to be all important .
