not many players get signed because they are foreign.For years the FA have made a complete and utter cock-up of youth development,they are the ones to blame,clubs will get the best players they can afford,sadly that means they havent been tainted by our 'thick and fast' system.Very debatable if any of the spanish team would come through our woeful system. Evidence is there for all to see in the lower divisions,lads not good enough for the prem but stars of the system that produced them.Utter crap footballers .We are so let down by the FA,i honestly believe the forces would do better, and should be given the national team,like the eastern bloc did some years ago. It could not be any worse.
