will we finish in top 4 next season?

If we get a new left back and solid central defender I'd be more confident but that said I expect us to make a strong challenge for 4th this season. Don't forget Everton will be in the mix again.

I know that we have bought some really good players, but I'm still afraid that Mancini might fail as a manager!

I think that we can't compete with Chelsea or MU in next season, maybe later

Arsenal is stronger than city because they have much better trainer and they are gelled team

and now Liverpool with new trainer Roy and they'll probably keep Torres and Gerrard

and now lets add some teams like Tottenham or Everton, they are able to beat us too :(

What shit i have been confident that we would everething we was in since 1968, and now its possible, we have so called fans with a bit of doubt.
GET REAL.
So what do you people think?

I think now big team are scared of playing us than we are of them. A team with tevez silva aj ade and co shows that we are actually going places.

Chelsea are ageing and unless big investment they might not do aswell as they think. I mean yes they will be challenging for the title but lampards getiing on a bit and terry, don't make me laugh, the guys crap.

United well we all know what's happening there. The only thing they can hold onto is the biggest stadium in the prem. There era is up and now it's time to show that Manchester is blue.

Aresenal, yes there a good, gelled team but without fabregas they lack direction.

As for Liverpool they won't keep hold of gerrard and torres and they don't have big money too replace them with

so going back too your original question. Yes I do think we will, also think we will be challenging for the title, why not? With world class players in our squad and the support of our fans then we can make it!

He's probably being a bit pessismistic about the top 4 bit but the winning the league thing is also a optimistic.

Chavski had come second the season before they actually won the league and still needed a shed load of money to do it and the special one.

Manure have the experience and will surely strengthen so they will still challenge.

Arsenal get written off every season but yet still challenge till the clocks go forward.

I wouldn't write off the blue dippers for top 4 but the Spuds and the red dippers won't be much of a threat. One teams bankrupt and will lose their only world class stars and the other will probably lose their manager to England and even if they don't HMRC will bang him up or their mid week European exertions will cost them.

Hey malg... whilst I can understand your trepidation - this is Manchester City after all - I must say that I disagree.. I believe we will challenge for the title this season, and EVERY team in the Premiership will be worried about the level of investment - both in players & infrastructure - taking place in & around Eastlands.. A couple more stellar signings (Yaya Toure, Szeko / Torres (!!)), would give us the strength in depth; enough to gain a place (at least) amongst the elite..
Keep the faith amigo.. the future's bright.. the future's Blue!!...

if you really believe tottenham wont be a threat to you just 8wks after finishing 1 place above you then you will be in a for a shock,if ever a team was going to improve this year then it will be tottenham, europe or no europe,we have a very settled team that is so well balanced as you have seen 1st hand
all we are missing is that top draw striker to take us to the next level,im not a redknapp lover but i do not believe he would take the worst job in football in being englands manager,he just aint that stupid.
our squad is as strong as yours in most departments & in my opinion playing thursday, sunday is more taxing on a squad than tues, weds champions league games if we were to qualify, the reason we finished 4th last year is because we didnt make the usual wholesale changes & just kept it simple,i guarantee wherever you are in the league we are right next to you, this is the year when 5 teams will be fighting for the title, chelsea & man utd have been caught now
