Will we win at Blackburn ?

Kinky by name said:
Rovers have injuries and fatarse reckons they are down to the bones so we only have ourselves to blame if we do not beat them - our players need to adopt a winning mentality and killer instinct – if we score first we need to go for the throat - none of that sitting back on a 1-0 lead shite

Who's out for them mate? Key players, or squad players?

two days old now but:

Sam Allardyce could have a defensive nightmare on his hands when Manchester City come to Ewood Park next weekend for the first game of the new Premier League season.

Allardyce's side took heavy casualties in their friendly against Dundee United, which saw the Scottish side run out 2-0 winners.

Defensive duo Christopher Samba and Ryan Nelsen as well as striker Paul Gallagher all had to leave the friendly with various injuries and Allardyce realized he may have some serious concerns on his hands.

'Big Sam' told Blackburn's official website, "Unfortunately I think from our point of view that the game was over when Gally, Ryan and Chris got injuries, and they are looking pretty serious as well for next week.

"We will just hope and keep our fingers crossed through the week that we can get some of them fit.
"Given that we have international week we can ill afford anybody else getting injured away there.

"So we'll have to tread carefully next week unfortunately but the situation is something we'll have to cope with and get the best side out we can against Manchester City and hope they are fit enough and ready enough to go and do battle with them.

"With Ryan it looks like a medial ligament, and Gally and Chris are hamstrings. We'll know better as to how seriously they are injured on Sunday and Monday when we get scans on them obviously.

"But all three are pretty doubtful for next week."

Allardyce will be counting down the days this week hoping to have his internationals back at Ewood Park unscathed to prepare for Manchester City.
