Unlike most Liverpool fans I am sure I am not alone in not counting our chickens, I won't be getting a tee shirt printed or doing semi religious iconography showing that it's our destiny, I will take one game at a time
And absolutely NO hashtag bullshit like #wegoagain or #makemehaveawetdream please please please #please

liverpools record at palace is as dire as ours at everton but it means nothing it certaily does not indicate a defeat for us, everton without 4/5 players will be there for the taking, its if we turn up or not, i dont think we will let this last chance slip away
Bad records and so called bogey teams are all in the mind and actually have no influence in a game unless you let it.

True. Also, Everton are playing a much more open, aggressive system than they ever did under wee Davey. It always suits us to play against a team that actually wants to play football as opposed to parking the bus.
Correct mate 100% agree with this.

It's not like roberto has done us before.

I'm envious of some of the positive posters on here. I just can't bring myself to think about winning it, as I think I'll fucking jinx something (utter shite, but I can't help it). It's not even fun, it's a pain in the arse - I don't even want to think about the Everton game. I'll probably take the dogs out for a 90 minute walk next week.......fucking football.......hate it!
Hahaha I did that yesterday walked around the woods for 90 mins and only checked the score at each half. I bet people thought I was a right weirdo. Can't help it.
My dogs were bored shitless

Thanks city for fucking me up

Have we learnt nothing from this season? Well actually, we have learnt a lot from 2011/12... we were expecting things may not be so done and dusted as to get the victory anthem out and mock up a winners trophy as per yourselves. In fact - if you read most of our posts we remain coy on our chances, there may be a little confidence because whilst we have a poor record at Goodison, Martinez is now their manager, they have injury issues and Barry is ineligible so we have to feel we can go and win that game. We know it will be tough and we don't expect to win the league but we are all hopeful. Whilst you mention Villa at home and West Ham at home - you too have two games yet to play which are by no means certs. Palace away after the Chelsea result - not the ideal follow up... Newcastle have been so poor of late you just know they will decide to turn up at Anfield... don't you???

And Chelsea? Well Norwich and Cardiff are both in dire need of points - Chelsea may have eyes firmly on the CL final by then and it may be a case of them having less desire than those sides... we were 8pts behind with 6 games to go in 2012, and we managed to win those last 6... each one was difficult - the Rags was a professional job, Newcastle away showed patience and commitment and QPR showed fighting spirit til the end. We will have to do the same over the next three and hope we have enough... but we do not expect to win it because that only makes you look silly.
