I'm going to enjoy today and then tomorrow I'll be focused on the everton game.
Playing them is different nowadays, when the chosen one was in charge it seemed personal and we always looked scared to death playing them. Now with martinez they are totally different, they don't have that aggression, they play more open which will suit our game and they look like they've hit the buffers but approach with caution.
This has the feel of the newcastle match in 2012.
I hope I'm right.

Agreed mate I said this when we played them at home at the start of the season, and I don't think anyone had beaten them in the league at that point. Fans might not want it so much either if arsenal win tomorrow and they know they probably won't get fourth

allways had this game down for the draw and still do but all is not lost because liverpool wont beat palace, i think this is the last twist and turn to come over next weekend

Let's not make Liverpool fans out of ourselves...It's going down to the final day.
Everton are a quality team and they won't roll over just because they are 4 points behind, which in turn would risk putting them to sixth.

I still think Everton will treat next weeks game like a cup final regardless, a result for Newcastle tomorrow and you are talking their game of the season potentially.

I think we have to take the more pragmatic approach next week and go with three in midfield and grind a result out, going with two up top trying to blow them away could be a bit too risky with us being in such a delicate position.

It's time we turned up in a big away game this season as our mentality in them overall has been way below average, basically I don't want to see another bottle job.

We fight to the end and be the first to every ball, we must want it more than them, do that and we should win.

we have only won once in the last 15 visits to goodison.
Would have preferred anywhere but there.

let's not get too confident just yet

I agree with you mate, Liverpool will really struggle at Palace who are a very decent side and won't let them play their flowing style. 1 - 1

-- Mon Apr 28, 2014 12:16 am --

It was great to hear Tony Pulis speaking of his 'responsibilty' to the Premier League when referring to his intention to throw the kitchen sink at Liverpool.

well, poviding arsenal win tomo top 4 is near over for everton, putting the boot on the other foot if it was city playing at home next week and losing would allmost certainly end united's chances of the title what would you want to happen?

All this Scouse 'love' between blue and red is a load of bollocks. They hate each other just as much as us Mancs.

Had next weekend's game been all at the same time, I'm not sure Liverpool would be able to recover to beat Palace, but with them playing 24 hours later, they will get a huge left if we don't win. I think if City draw at Everton, Liverpool will go on to beat Palace comfortably. Palace were a bit disappointing today, but maybe our early goal smashed their game plan. Now we've beaten Palace, I don't really see them picking up their game and taking points off Liverpool.

Going to be a long week, but I'm going to enjoy it. These are the days we've been waiting for.
