Will we win the league? (continued)

Got a great chance now. The massive pressure if it's a draw after 60 minutes is gone now, because even a point puts us back on top.

Should do it now

we will win the league , but scudamore has left instructions to give it to the martyrs , our title will be annulled from the record books because we bought it , the £300m the martyrs have spent in the last 3 seasons , has been air brushed from the klanfield accounts , to enable the proper club with istree who play the right way , get what they deserve , saint steven assisted by reverend suarez will perform the lap of honour .

Not over yet at all but it feels much better than in 60th minute of that game tonight. I was shitting it we might need not just wins but few goals wins at that point, Palace looked ready to concede another 2-3.

We should really win this now with having a luxury of dropping two points. But hopefully that won't make us complacent.

We have been handed it on a a silver platter, if we cluck this up the players need shooting

We've still likely got to take four points from two games.

We're huge favourites now, but let's face it we wouldn't have given Norwich a cat in hell's chance of getting a result at Chelsea - and who would have bet even 1p on Palace at the 75 minute mark tonight. If Chelsea and Liverpool could drop points at this stage, we can too. You only have to look back to the Aston Villa game earlier this season, which was one of the craziest results I've seen in recent years, so we know anything could happen.

No complacency - this is not over till we win those two games.

Honestly I'm not surprised at all about the Chelsea game. Getting beat the way they did vs Atleti and getting bounced out of the UCL, plus the Hazard Mo bust up it had all the makings of a let down. Just too much of an emotional let down in the UCL to be able to come back and play well just a few days later. particularly when the coach keeps going on about how they have no chance to win the title. Going into the Liverpool v Palace game a draw seemed pretty possible to me. Now at 0-3 it looked more likely they'd win 0-5 for sure.

For us though we're playing at home vs 2 teams with nothing to play for. Villa doesn't have their best player and without him they have trouble scoring goals. Only 8 in their last 8. West Ham also have only scored 8 in their last 8. For us to drop points they are gonna have to score at least 2, most likely more. Don't see that happening. We would really have to cock it up not to win the title. It's surely ours now.

I know it looks good for City but too much weird shit has happened for me to think this is going to be easy. Aston Villa and West Ham each have an opportunity to make headlines by pulling off an upset and they'll want to end their seasons by making big news.

This will come down to MP and making sure that the team is completely focused and takes nothing for granted.

It's all been said on here, if not over the last 6 weeks. The top 3 all dropped points. They all lost one and drew one. Pellegrini was right all the way when he said all teams involved will drop points till the very last day.

Well, Manuel, it would be very decent of you and your players to stop dropping points starting ... now!

the pressure is off now. we can afford to draw one from the last 2 games at home. should the scousers win 3-0 last night, massive pressure will be on us to win all remaining games. big thanks to crystal palace (and also Chelsea).
