Will we win the league this season? No

This is an absolutely ludicrous take.

Declan Rice doesn't get anywhere near PSG's midfield and Pacho is better than either CB they have.
Domalino: never in doubt of his/her convictions and in equal part totally wrong.

Flail away... you're not fooling anywone.

That said, Pacho is fuckiing awesome as of late. I don't know if this is a long term massive improvement in performance or if it's by chance, a recent upturn in form.

That said, I stand by my original remark.

And... since you probably don't read my full posts - I think that PSG are far better than Arsenal, and that the combined 11 starting lineup I outlined both marginally improves PSG, but massively improves Arsenal.

PSG are far better than Arsenal and in a one-off, are more likely to prevail (as supported by bettors)... whereas in a single one-off competition, much, much, much, more luck is involved - the weaker side in a one on one competition is far more likely to prevail if the competition is a single game.

>> the weaker side in a one on one competition is far more likely to prevail if the competition is a single game.
If you object to this, you're a mathematical incompetent - which, by the way, I think you are.

People seem to be seriously underestimating Brentford, yes we should win, but they have had another good season and give everyone they play a difficult game,.
Has the potential to be a tough one this. With the title being out of our hands, we're going to have to be at our best for the remaining season and hope for a little favour along the way. Got to win later on, simple as.

IMO, we have not once looked like we have had the hunger to win the League this Season!

We have lost one league game out of 16 in 2026, we have also dropped 10 points after leading games in that time!

We won't win the league this year because it's more about if Arsenal 'bottle' it than if City win another domestic Treble to a lot of blues!

We are in a title race by mistake, Pep is building a young squad for next season and doesn't think they are ready yet, that is why he didn't let Arsenal win the League Cup!
Can't agree with that, I think it's a lack of experience and the fact that the team had had to change massively virtually overnight, once again coupled with a fair few long term injuries to key players - Rodri again, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Diaz etc - that has been the deciding factor.

I would be very surprised if you could find more than one or two league matches where we have had less possession or shoots in goal than the opposition, so that's not a lack of hunger.

I still believe to many are expecting to much too soon, you don't change half the first team then expect them to clean up overnight. Many players can take a season if two to get to their best, especially those who are not playing regularly.

Glasner intimating that he is going to rest his team against Arsenal ahead of their Conference Final.

Stranger things have happened, of course, but I can see that game being like Spurs at Villa last week.

We may well beat Brentford, Palace, Bournemouth and Villa (who may also have a changed team after their Europa Final), but looks like we’re just relying on West Ham and then Burnley going to the Emirates.

This has been my answer for a while. But i have to admit, we've made it bloody interesting.
I agree, we've made it interesting but I personally never thought we'd win it as we've have had too many games this season where we've pissed points away and been too open at the back. The Everton game was another example of that.

I'd like to see our stats over the last couple of years of games with and without Rodri - maybe I'm over simplifying things and just the obvious bullshit of 'without Rodri we're vulnerable in the middle'.

Don't know, but we've pissed away a lot of points this season and Arsenal appear to have had their bad patch - however it's been a strange league this season.

A fully fit Rodri adds at least 10 pts more. Rodri wasn't fully fit for most of the season. So I think we easily win 90+ pts with Rodri fully fit and available.

Had he avoided that injury, we might have been talking about 5 or 6 PL titles in a row...

Just back the boys to win each game we do that and that’s all we can do. What will be will be. Just as we slipped up at Everton it’s not all plain sailing. An early goal today would be nice.

We all know we weren’t our best this season but we are still within a chance

We need to win each game, and win big against Brentford and Palace (and then hope West Ham can take something tomorrow). If we score early tomorrow I want to see players grabbing the ball out the net and racing back to the half way line ready for the next one. Every goal we score could be huge in tipping the scales in our favour.

I hope we knock a few in tonight as well, lol.

I watched us thrash the scousers 4-0 and beat Arse in our last 2 home games. it would be a major surprise if we dont beat brentford and palace and we are well capable of putting 3 or 4 past either or both
Regardless and I take your point, but I will never feel that City will win a game comfortably against a top seven side. These are three very good teams. Sorry for coming across as a plum!

Anything can happen in the last 3 games. Get behind the lads this evening and see what happens tomorrow.

The fact we are in the title race is only because there has been no stand out team , if the goons get 85 points it will be the lowest points total for a Premier league title for a decade , even the Rags could finish turd thats how bad it is :)
