Will we win the league this season?

7 to City. We absolutely don't regard Villa as a credible challenger. Only City.
I'd take them seriously enough.
One of us is going to drop points when we play each other.
Villa obviously 3rd favourites but had that been a draw for you today, you'd only be 4 points ahead.

Yeah but Villa have massively outperformed their XG and were shit at the Emirates and were lucky to win at Villa Park. We needed a last second equaliser vs City. City are levels above Villa.

dont like we still have to go to old toilet, anfield, Stamford bridge while Arsenal all have these out of the way.
. they have to visit us though but that has a huge draw written over it imo.
Yeah, they'll park the bus at the Etihad and you can't blame them for that.

If we’d offered West Ham £180m for Rice and paid him the same as Haaland it would still have been good business. Pretty certain we’d have two more FA Cups and last year’s title if we had.
He wouldn’t have come. His heart was fixed on the Arse, even if it is physically impossible.

You see how we get refereed to how Arsenal do! Just the little things like a foul when it isn’t a foul or the time added or let teams go hard in one team not the other! They say all fans think this but we have had a good long time now to see we are refereed differently…

I can't disagree with any of this. Looking at your subs you were able to bring on Trossard and Zubimendi whereas we can bring on Savinho and Lewis.

You are also physically strong and quick, attack and defend in numbers, and can always rely on a set-piece goal. Not pretty but effective.

So, although the unexpected can happen I don"t think it will and you'll walk it by 10 or more points.
Thankfully pep guardiola disagrees with you

Two things -
Bizarre you’re on a City forum whilst your team is playing ?
Arsenal and their time wasting is a joke you robbed a charity shield of us in 110th minute where is the league clamp down now ?
Finally I actually find your views very balanced
I've explained before why I am on a City forum and that's because it is actually a brilliant football forum. I'm not a fan of Arsenal supporters in general, very emotional and also some absolute pricks - eg quite a few grim fuckers cheering on Rodri's injury last season.

Also I support Arsenal but it's not the be all and end all for me - if we lose the league title to the better team so be it, I won't be slashing my wrists and like you guys who have been able to live through some incredible moments, so have I a couple of decades ago with Bergkamp, Henry etc in the team. If I live that again then great, if not then I've had the chance to witness it before.

Finally, we football fans are stuck with our team, for better or for worse. You guys by and large are pretty grounded due to having seen (very) thick and (very) thin. Most people aren't throwing toys out the pram if you have to go through a few years of transition. Go on RAWK and see how those mentalists are dealing with things!

Xg is the most useless stat in football. Same as possesion stats.
OK sure, but I've seen Villa twice against us this season and I've seen City. Villa aren't in the same stratosphere and I don't even look out for Villa results for the title race whereas I will try and watch as many City games as possible as I view them as actual credible title rivals.

AFTV is total car crash fan TV,

It goes without saying Ty is the biggest Arsenal prick going and gives the Arsenal fans a bad and unwanted reputation.

Saying that, maybe it’s a Cockney thing, but I find a lot of Arsenal fans to be loud and gobby, especially when Arsenal win.

There doesn’t seem to be any humility amongst Arsenal fans.

You seem to be different. Fair play to you. I always enjoy reading your unbiased and level headed posts.

They are winning games like the great City teams have done over the last decade or so.

Even before a ball is kicked you know they will win the game.

It’s a shock and fantastic when they lose or draw.

On a minor plus side.

If City don’t win the PL title and Arsenal win it, either way, it will stop the Scouse cunts from making it 2 PL titles in a row.

Pep making Silva captain seems an odd move. These days Bernie shouldn’t be an automatic starter, certainly away from home, same could be said for Foden, against the more physical teams he disappears. Cherki has flashes of brilliance but is getting used to the physical slog of the Premier League, same for Reijnders.
