Will we win the league this season?

No chance. We will most likely come 3rd again. Liverpool will win the league easy again.

Of course there’s a chance. We’ll get over 80 points will liverpool get more than us , maybe but they won’t get many more than us to win it easily if they do win it.

They may win it but it'll never be as easy as last season. I think we'll give it a better go this season but I think it will be tight. We've been on an unprecedented, recently, which has raised everyone's expectations beyond the norm. Hopefully we're still in the fight at the end.

It will be close, and I wouldn't bet against us.

But we are in transition, and we might need another summer transfer window after this one to ship out the last of all the "Golden Oldies", which I assume will be done next summer.

So at least 1 goalkeeper for Ederson, a centre half for Stones and another midfielder for when Silva and Kovacic leave.

If Stones can play.......coughs outloud, 30+ games for us this season maybe just maybe.

The right back is vital for the league-winning campaign. So many teams with fast and physical wingers. Also the left back situation with Pep choosing O'Reilly over Ait Nouri costing us potentially as he is shite.

Liverpool's won a league with 84 points in a season when everything went in their favour whilst Arsenal were on 74 points. I don't see that they are 'formidable' or 'absolutely primed'. Neither do I see how Pep's and Bernardo's short term contracts effect City's potential for 2025-26.

I think we can expect City to improve significantly as Rodri recovers and Ait-Nouri settles in. I think Reijnders is a good signing but Cherki might be a gamble.

Liverpool dropped 10 points in the four games after winning the league, so I think it's realistic to expect that they'd have hit 90+. The good part of that is that, similar to the last time they won the league, they dropped off, suggesting they still may not have that desire that's needed to win back to back titles.

I think we'll need to see how our new players settle in, and whether Rodri and Foden are back to their best, but I definitely expect us to be close next season.
