To put it plainly we won’t challenge for the league or the champions league this year unless we find alternative goalscorers to support Haaland. I mean we have plenty of other issues too, but the stats for our goalscorers so far this season is hilarious.

Burnley’s Esteve is our current second top scorer in all competitions behind Haaland. During our title winning seasons we had numerous goalscorers with around 4/5 getting over 10 goals in the premier league alone. We need other players to step up the goal returns big time.

Last nights draw to Monaco doesn’t happen if we kill them off but we can’t expect Haaland to score two goals every game, well maybe we can actually haha, but we need everyone else chipping in more!!

Meh, you miserable git. You forget we have Cherki and Marmoush to return, plus Reijnders will settle in as the season progresses. I think we have pretty much everything we need. It's just a case of whether we can get players back and settled in before the title is beyond our grasp.

still think for all the talent the team has, theres a weak underbelly and mentality there. Proved by the late collapses and silliness so far this season.

Every chance in my opinion. I haven't seen Liverpool (who have scraped what is it 4, 5 late wins which means they could easily have been 8 points worse off by now), or Arsenal doing any better overall than we are, and we have key players to come back while we are also improving all the time as players get used to each other.

I know it will never happen as long as there's a hole in my arse but we need to get rid of the concept that we'll score every time we have a chance or we'll never make a mistake defending. No team has ever gone through a season scoring every chance and never conceding a single goal. The idea is to win more than you lose and more than everybody else.

It's not like a video game where you must complete certain task to get past the finish line and you'll never complete it of you don't finish those tasks, it's a game played by humans who will always make mistakes. Get used to it.

Totally disagree, I think it's simply more to do with the fact that we haven't got all our players fit and the squad as a whole is still getting used to playing with each other. The thing I can never understand is fans are always looking for perfection, for a team that never makes mistakes. You'll never get that.

Last night was a little unlucky, one of those decisions that some refs will give while others don't. We even saw that on the pitch as it had to be debated by VAR. On another day that's overturned, or the two shots that hit the woodwork go in. Fine margins.

We were also playing a far inferior team to arsenal and ourselves last night. We should have won there last night easily

You're right about drifting, but this extends to last season when we started games positively at Newcastle, Sporting Lisbon and Brighton, and also threw away a 3 goal v Feyenoord

I always thought that this would be resolved once Rodri returned, but he's nowhere near his previous peak, and if/when that eventually happens it might be too late for this season.

We haven't gotten a penalty yet either though Doku was clearly fouled in the box and VAR didn't intervene.

We really miss Marmoush and Echeverri taking free kicks. Foden usually takes them but is well below average if we're honest with ourselves. We need a specialist.
