It's probably in the thread somewhere, but can someone clarify for me, Is this proposal a league to replace our Premier League or just a different version of midweek European football?

This surely must have come from the cartel clubs. Everything was set up perfect for City. We were near the top of the tree. Why would we look to upset an applecart when we're picking apples from the top of the pile?

Sounds like it will collapse like a pack of cards. If I wrre UEFA I'd have exposed their plans ages ago. No one wants to turn their back on football at the weekend.

from what I’ve seen we are as much to blame on this as other clubs.

Just thought I’d have a look and see what the United fans are making of this.
So they’re not happy about the proposal, they’re even less happy that we’ve been invited and best of all it’s all our fault, along with PSG and our oil money.
Funny cos those against the idea are against the idea of a closed shop, but they also only want clubs only being able to spend a percentage of their income and no outside investment, eg us.
Closed shop.
I suppose I could’ve guessed that without actually looking lol

FA, UEFA and FIFA will ban any teams joining this ESL from their competitions, so we would be kicked out of existing domestic and european football.

United, Liverpool and Arsenal are definitely the three clubs doing most of the driving, it sounds like.
