Mike Keegan saying this is very much a US led proposal and that he’s led to believe that City and Chelsea were backed into a corner on Friday
Not an excuse, Abu Dhabi alone has enough money to bring an alternative to the table.Mike Keegan saying this is very much a US led proposal and that he’s led to believe that City and Chelsea were backed into a corner on Friday
We don’t need an alternaticeNot an excuse, Abu Dhabi alone has enough money to bring an alternative to the table.
Exactly. They could simply give 50,000 tickets away free and take the beer and burger money as a bonus.

It can't can it. Miscalculation by those involved.Strange to be backed in a corner. If the terrible 3 fucked off the league and UCL to play Italian clubs 5 times a year why the fuck didn’t we just let them get on with it?!?!
this won’t happen, is my guess

It is simply not enough of an attractive draw to justify the 4bn price tag proposedIt can't can it. Miscalculation by those involved.
Totally agree @Mad Eyed Screamer . Sport is exciting because you can win, lose or draw. In some ways the clubs feel like gamblers who like the excitement of winning only and have no interest in ever losing!Everything you have written is spot on - speaking as a fan.
But from a Club owners perspective yes football is a business and these owners clearly want to have a guarentee in protecting their investment to the detriment of the game as a whole. Not that they give a shit.
