I do get what your saying and kind of agree , the problem for me is that we have jumped into bed with all the cunts who wanted to fuck us and at the same time had the media brainwashing the country and Europe that we were cheats . How can they be trusted ?
Simple answer: they can't be trusted. So how stupid are we?

What a shambles. Hope the Government doesn't have to get involved, could end up with Balls Up Boris as Chairman.
Makes me wonder when the players heard of this, some of them have been off their game the last couple of games, Sterling for one, always reliable, last couple of games not really there. No pun intended. Did Kevin DB hurt his ankle,or was he pissed off.
Maybe time to get a new signiture song for the club. Goodbye Cruel World (I'me off to joint the circus) could be a contender.
Sterling always reliable? I have a lot of time for Raz and I think he gets some unfair criiticism, but...reliable?? Never mind always. As the great man said: "You cannot be serious."

This hasn't been created for the advancement of football , its been thought up to pull cartel clubs out of debt . they're all in debt especially the Spanish clubs . Unfortunately for City , looks like they were between a rock and a hard place . But I couldn't think of ever wanting to side with any of these rats and snakes and just look at the gang who've been put in places to run the new league . You can already see the traffic jam of new yachts blocking up the Med .

Disgraceful! And you have to ask yourself if this was the real reason our club (and others since) was targeted for takeover.
This idea has been knocking around for years but I’ll bet most supporters took it with a pinch of salt while it ebbed and flowed as periodic headlines.
Financial markets are forward looking and 13 years is small change to make the kind of potential return this thing may yield if successful.
I’m hoping this may be us posturing & taking the view better in than out so as to dictate terms but at the end of the day this is about $$$
& I hate to say it but these kind of decisions come from the very top which means we have been a trojan horse and we have been very much had!
Thanks for the cups, thanks for the titles, it was all great! ...our eyes are now opened to the death of football as we’ve known it!
There's so much in what you say, I feel like something of a fool, especially after explaining to a great Chelsea supporting friend in 2003 that Abramovitch was looking to create a revenue source outside Russia as a hedge against losing his oligarch holdings in the country. Logically, that sort of motivation leads on to the kind of proposal we have just had revealed. And that certainly fits for Abu Dhabi owners (must stop relying on oil revenues) although the Americans are mainly just being American ie. ferociously greedy bastards looking to extend an established model in order to rake in even more money, on an even more secure basis. But why (so far) have PSG stood aside? That I don't understand. I think there are three possible explanations ie. (a) they are joining, as one of the 3 extra founding members, but just have to sort out some details before the announcement; (b) the club owners have calculated that the ESL will be unable to survive the weight of opposition to it and will collapse, leaving PSG smelling of roses as a "principled" opponent; (c) PSG could never accept a league with no relegation as in keeping with the true spirit of football and so refuses participation in such a competition. I think it's probably a toss up between (a) and (b) with (c) out of the question, but we shall see what happens. The economics point to PSG participation.

Mods, please set up a new poll

Will you ever attend another game with our present owner?

Also think American Football on TV in US coming to UK.

There will be adds literally every single minute, scrolling permanently at the bottom of the screen, every water break advert.Every player being treated advert TV will cut away to the new Chrysler what the fuck like 20 times a game

4 quarters per game for more sponsors adds is almost a certainty.

This on top of another subscription.
You point to a distinct possibility but the sort of crap you are describing will not quite be new. That's because nearly 50 years ago Jimmy Hill was raving about US soccer and pleading for changes to the rules of the game, to get with the new US Leagues. Well, I hadn't expected our Jimmy to turn into a clearly raving nutter but he was ignored - even though nobody had the gumption to declare that he was raving, practically certifiable - and when those US Soccer Leagues fell apart his advocacy of rule changes was quietly sidelined. It may soon be back.

Money grabbing fan hating fuckwits. Let's ignore history, the other cups, and go for the money. Lots and lots of money.

I get they are skint so here's a plan.

Stop paying agents fees. Stop bowing down to 500k a week. Collectively, as a group of clubs, put a cap on it. Literally. If you all did it together you'd still have the players.

Problem solved.

Utter twats.

Absolutely this^^^^
Absolutely fucking shameful that we have thrown our lot in with our enemies and those who will still look to destroy at the first opportunity, like some sick parody of a battered wife or a hostage with Stockholm Syndrome
"..those who will still look to destroy at the first opportunity.." Too right.
