I feel like any Premier League title or domestic cup competition (we're still even allowed) to compete and win in will be tainted now because of our association with this soulless, plastic cartel.

I never cared about taunts from other fans, plastic, oil money, etc because I knew we were nothing like that. I can't honestly say that now. I always call myself a Blue but I have no interest in following City in this Supa Leeg.
We should have had the bottle to resist. I would not be surprised if Silverlake investments knew this was going down and that it has been in the offing for a long time.

Football is just a commercial operation now. They will sell the rights to broadcasting companies but no City fans will go. Man Utd fans possibly will. And Liverpool. They are plastic. Most of the City season ticket holders are proper long-standing supporters and aren't going to have this.

Boycott Manchester City.

If PL wants to dictate they have to take the risk of asking huge sums of money from Sky/BT and overseas channels to pay same or more money for prime time spots showing Burnley-Wolves 0-0 games nonstop.

Or have a PL that has not 4 but 6 of their clubs in the new SL format, generating even more money for the PL.

Not if they suspend/kick out clubs involved In the ESL as they have suggested. When push comes to shove however we will see.
They won’t cut off their nose to spite their face. Sadly Far too much to lose by kicking out the six

I don't think City are sold on this. This is a Man Utd / Liverpool project. I think City would be happy for it to fail but felt obliged to accept invitation.

I really really hope so. It will be difficult, maybe impossible to look at City the same ever again though either way sadly.

That for me tells me all I need to know about how us fans are taken into account. The mask has been taken off tonight imo and the real owners have unveiled themselves.
Don't be so melodramatic... it hurts too much. :(

Now would be the perfect time for our owners to draw up their own Super League. Offer larger sums and say the domestic leagues will not be affected and it will be played like a WC at the end of the season.
