There is know logical reason to play Caballero on Sunday, unless Joe picks up an injury in Kiev. The mistakes Caballero is making are all basic errors, the free kick at Chelsea & diving over a shot hit straight at him by Cahill to name a couple. Just because the manager has known him for a while & has played him in a few games in earlier rounds doesn't mean he should play at Wembley.......but he will won't he?

The logical reason could be called consistency. Domestic cup keeper -> cup final -> Cab.
We all don't know about the agreement between Pellers and the 2 keepers, don't we? Do you?

The free kick leading to the 4th goal was his mistake, right.
But have a look again at Cahill's shot. It was not straight but deflected by Fernando. That goal could have been avoided by Zab or Fern. If you ever have been in a football goal you'd know Cab didn't have a chance from that distance.

I don't mind who will be our keeper at Wembley. But I do mind the massive Cab bashing that is going on here.
Really poor.

I expect Pellers won't support this bashing and Cab will play the final.

In the games Joe made mistakes in, we had picked out strongest available line up. We gave up on Sunday with our team selection.

Denayer should have stayed and he would have got good game time this season. Willy needed Willy to stay for another season because it's hard to get a decent back up keeper. Both Demi and Willy will go in the Summer!

After two days reflection, I still see no reason to play Willy Wonka, and if Pellegrini doesn't have it in him to sit Caballero down, explain to him with regret that he now has to pick Hart for the final, then he really is totally useless and spineless (we know this already though).

The thought of Willy on Sunday is just taking the edge off me being able to look forward to it 100%. Still can't wait though.
