Good point. But has Alcaraz ever produced to this level on grass? Djokovic is a monster on this surface, and I would have thought that most of the money would have been on him to prevail.Can the world number 1 be an underdog against the number 2?
(Pay Cash said he couldn’t find a single ex-pro or current pro who was picking Alcaraz to win, so the answer is obviously yes, but it’s worth remembering Alcaraz is no. 1 for a reason)
With hindsight, "outsider" might have been a better word than underdog.
