Wimbledon 2023 | Alcaraz beats Djokovic in the final

In many, many years, going right back to things like the Smith-Nastase final, I can't remember when I've taken so little interest in Wimbledon. I just had the glum conviction that it was the same old faces, and I was sick of them. In the last few rounds, I started to twig that something else was happening.
How wrong I was about it all! Great to see a changing of the guard in both the women's and men's game, although I have to say I was very sad for Ons Jabeur. She'll be back, though.

Not watched all the final but dipped in and out whilst focusing on the cycling but caught the end of what was an obviously incredible final.

Novak is the best there has been imo but this young lad looks the real deal and has now proven it.

Federer will always be the best for me out of the 3.

Fantastic Wimbledon weekend. Vondroušová winning the women's final and Alcaraz winning the men's. Very satisfying. Couldn't have scripted it better.
Plus the English men’s wheelchair championship and the Boys Champion as well. First since Stanley Matthew’s son inn1962.

Annabel Croft has done alright for herself considering her career was hardly noteworthy. Handled the post match duties very well though.
