That's league wins and was obviously over two different seasons. In 2011 we also won 9 on the bounce between 1st October and 19th November. That was 6 in the league, 1 in the League Cup and 2 in the CL.

In Aug 2012 we drew our second game to Liverpool, and didn't have a great start. I think Wiki has let Patrick down or it should be 2011 possibly.

Yep just checked it was 7 2011 cross seasons, I forgot about the Everton loss :)

If we'd beaten Blackburn at Ewood Park in the FA Cup last season, we'd have had 14 wins on the run between beating Bayern on Dec 10th and losing to Chelsea on Feb 3rd. That would have equalled the record.
