Today I will be having a slow roast pork shoulder with all the trimmings and gravy made from the meat juices and a bottle of beer.

Never been one for pudding, I prefer a good cheeseboard.

Beef Stew..... carrots,turnips,onion,sliced cabbage and a mix of lentils,barley and spuds.

Ox tail soup, optional.

Tomato soup : crusty bread . Or a good pon of lobbys !! Or pie island soup!!

Made a lovely Steak and ale pie today, thick crispy pastry, roast potatoes and carrot and turnip. Was perfect for a cold Sunday to go with a nice bottle of red.

Homemade Chilli with rice and a mound of garlic bread. Stew just doesn't do it for me.
