Yum

Cabbage and Ribs

I've never got on with ribs. Fiddly as fuck and hardly any fucking meat on them for their size. My dad used to love em, always had ribs one day a week and I usually had to make do with a findus crispy pancake.

Chicken casserole.
Sausage, egg, and chips.
Braised steak, liver and onions.
Might of known you're a sausage egg n chips kind of guy Stony.

I bet now you're living in Bah-nsley, tha likes a gud pork pie tha kno's. Ever tried the butchers in Jump village (off A6195) Stony. Hot peppered gravy pork pies to die for, best I've ever had mate.

Never tried em but the son in law is always raving about them. It's only about a mile or so from where I live. I might try them this weekend.

Haha, I know what you mean. I tried some a couple of years ago to see if they still tasted nice, and as you rightly say, they are fucking awful.

Made pea and ham soup last weekend - delicious.
But beef bourginon, coq au vin, chilli anything I can do in the slow cooker basically.

All this talk of food is making me hungry. I'm off to cook something for tea.
