Winter Soups. Whats your favourite?

Love Asian soups anything spicy and or hot and sour, getting veg and protein together with chilies garlic onion ginger etc is the goal. I tend to half blend some soups to make them easier in the flask. Asian soups you can get away with as is though. Not had any bread for over a month now.

I use the carcsss from a roasted chicken, boil then simmer for a couple of hours with an onion & bay leaf.
Then fry veg up (parsnip, turnip, onion, carrot, potatoes, garlic ) & simmer/sifting fir 15 minutes.
Pour the chicken stock over them then use blender!!
Season with salt & pepper and Garam masala.
Nice bread with it always helps but it’s bliss, tasty, cheap & healthy.

Try Pho, Vietnamese broth mate it’s great and low calories.[/quote
This sounds ace....gonna start doing stuff like that this year. Recipe?
Also ramen dishes...

I like making them myself so I know what goes in it and can add extra to what I like. I make a big batch on a Sunday that lasts the week.
I love home made soups. However, Heinz tomato is emotional. Reminds me of being a kid. On the odd occassion I was ever ill and off school my mum would warm some up for me. Transports me back in time.
