Wireless Thingy

Sense prevails, well done wkd ;-) Cheaper than getting a £50 an hour I.T guy in to fanny about with the wireless card settings if you haven't got any mates who know about this sort of thing.

If you and Ali use MSN she could request remote assistance from you, it works like a VNC (you see her screen and control her PC with your mouse and keyboard), all you have to do is forward a port on your router to receive the request (I can't remember which port but will look at mine if you want). I have used it more than once to sort out problems for friends of mine in Spain.

Edit: It's port 3389, TCP
