yep everyone feels so much better!! Just wonder what the pre match thread moaners - who called the team 'shite' -are doing now???? you know, those 'fans' who know better than Pep.. They know who they are!!

Loved all the debuts. Scorers will get plaudits but a keeper who didn’t give me a heart attack at any point and a proper left back were a joy to watch.

Everyone will talk about Reijnders & so they should but Oscar Bobb is the real deal. Thought Lewis did well looked far more effective playing alongside the impeccable Johnny Boulders

Listening to the pundits, co commentaries etc you would think we finished 15th nit 3rd last season

I was saying to the wife that I remember when finishing third and making it to a cup final was regarded as a decent season not “disastrous” as some pundits have called it, how times have changed!

No complaints, but we still need to sort out the defence. Better teams will score against us, but hopefully once all our midfielders and midfielders are match-fit, and maybe get Donnarumma in, we look good so far. I said this last season too though

Bobb is going to be most intriguing. He has not really ever had a run and has certainly never been a starter for a period. He looked a bit off the pace for me today but I am looking forward to seeing what he does this season.

Defence gave a few very minor heart attacks but played the offside well and kdb's replacement is looking like a stroke of genius! Will sleep well tonight :)

Not a bad start for a new team settling in. That Pep lad knows a thing or two.
Reijnders a goal, an assist and a yellow. Excellent. He obviously doesn’t like bus parkers and let them know it.
Squad depth looks awesome and Pep made good use of the subs. Goal for Cherki on PL debut. Two for the Viking. We are rumbling.
Oh, Rayan Cherki is top of the league……
