Hope I’m wrong but I think this will be a much closer game than many on here are predicting. ( I’m still scarred from the League Cup final in 1974!!).

Wolves were very unlucky at the Etihad thanks to an unexpectedly inspired performance from Bravo.

Have been very impressed at how they have set out to play this season after last year’s outstanding performances.

Think they will be the surprise team this season but we should have too much for them today.

Hi guys
Wolves fan here.
What a refreshing forum to read! I have a little nose at most of the club forums and usually fans are very biased towards their own clubs, and have nothing good to say about the opposition but it’s not like that’s here. It’s mad really that the best team in the country don’t have big headed fans.
Maybe it’s because you have been where we are and there are some similarities between the two clubs. Personally I don’t know any wolves fans that don’t like Man City, yet I know hundreds that hate Man Utd and Liverpool!
Please don’t believe all the hype about wolves and our fans. Hardly any of us think it’s going to be easy this season, the aim is to survive and anything above 17th position would be a very welcome surprise.
As for today’s game, I can’t see us getting anything from the game result wise but we will learn some lessons for sure.
I would predict 4-1 to city but as long as we attack, don’t park the bus and make a good account of ourselves then I will be happy.
Good luck today, safe journey to your fans and hope you have a great season.
I think you should be more optimistic - you have a good squad and a great manager. As for today it will not be as easy as some suggest, I think we will just about get the result we need maybe 2 or 3 -1. I fully expect Wolves to be in the top ten this year after looking at how some of the other teams have assembled their squads. Have a good season and enjoy the ride.

Christ, wish people would stop thinking about the Carabao game at our place, we had a second string playing for us.

The Talksport PL Preview Show described today's game as the battle of new money. I don't know much about the people at Wolves but would have thought their owners and ours would have been considered old money long before the likes of FSG appeared on the scene. You'd think even in football terms these clowns would realise Sheikh Mansour has been around longer than Liverpool's profit hungry investors.
