I’ve got no issue with a minutes applause or silence whatever for Jota - it was a horrific event, he was a current professional footballer and this is the first round of competitive matches since……i’d find it more strange if they didn’t do this on the first weekend and I’m sure his friends and family would too. Yes if they did the next match etc….then yeah we can’t keep doing that for the same bloke forevermore but that’s not going to happen is it ?

No idea - I don’t watch their games or pay much attention……I can just understand the Premier League or individual clubs in the league holding one on the first game back as it was pretty big deal ?

They did it when they played Preston, (a fucking friendly in ITV) a home game and at wembley

I recall Lijnders was quite active on the touchline for Klopp, wonder how its going to be now with Pep as Lillo hardly ever stood up and give instructions or even look like he is awake.
there is some rule I think only one person can actually be there even Arteta goes back to the bench at set pieces and their coach comes forward.
bit of extra energy from bench wont be bad.

I recall KDB having a good go at him when he was getting in the way of City playing football, he turned a whiter shade of pale and took a step back.

And? We know they are a half decent side well capable of giving us a game. Their re-season is largely irelevant except that they will be fitter than us. We need to put in a good performance to take the points.
