How can you hate 12:30 kick offs? It’s Saturday afternoon, the Sun’s out, we get our game in earlier than everyone else and can kick back for the rest of the afternoon with a longer drinking day!

Because his season in Argentina didn’t finish until later and he’s got a World Cup to factor in. We can’t burn him out after 6 games ffs.

Pep has basically already said he doesn't give shit about players international teams and they don't affect his team selections ect.

Leeds fans did say last season that Kalvin was becoming injury prone that they were worried his fitness was gone. Doesn't look good so far

We don’t play with full backs, never really have under Pep.

Cancelo and Stones are playing in deep midfield with Rodri, as our “full backs” always do. Cancelo is the best doing what he does in left midfield in the league. Stones has played there about a dozen times now under Pep and done well most of the time (Leeds at home, in the second half he was the best player on the pitch), he was a bit patchy on Wednesday but scored a screamer so gets another go.

Don’t disagree with your analysis, but it does make me ask why we’re putting a central defender to play predominantly in midfield.

Stones has had 2.1111 good games at right back; Leeds, Brentford and Dortmund. (He did ok against Madrid before he went off too).

Hopefully he improves going forwards as he gains more experience of playing the role though.

Only a matter of time that stones picks up another injury playing at rb . Cancelo should of been at rb today with Gomez at lb, giving grealish an overlapping option.
