Swap for Jonny boy then
We need to play Stones back into form and the only way of doing that is by game time, He's clearly been struggling in games of late, We all know what he's capable of when he's on it he's unbelievable.

It wasn't that long ago when Stones and Dias was our best defensive partnership, It can happen again.

Be interesting to see how the prem feels about us and what they instruct the reffing team and var to do today regards game management . I think this one will be reffed straight and fair, simply because they have seen our legal attack team and know City have the taste for litigation. I think the prem will want to just get this game out the way with little fuss over controversial decisions.

Hopefully, I just don't have faith he can play back to back games anymore without pulling up lame. I think Akanji is much better defensively aswell and we need his pace. A fit Stones would be our best shot at filling the Rodri hole alongside Kovacic though for sure.

Johnny has to play with no Rodri. Our best optional filling that role both defensively and offensively with his passing range. Big performance needed as possible point drop for both Arsenal and Pool. Hopefully see Kev back also!

The referees are all just shit. There's not a big overarching conspiracy. Every single team in the League thinks they are hard done to

Absolutely, all teams think they are hard done by and reffing standards are not very high but the prem have to show that they can regulate and control football in the league, they could be on the brink of having to pay one team multi millions in compensation over their errors in the past. At some point it has to dawn on Masters and co that they have to show that they can run the shit show efficiently ( they can't) and an easy way is to make sure rules/laws of the game are upheld in the public eyes .

My predicted line up for today.

Wolves play with wingbacks, I think the plan will be to pin them back and limit the out-balls as much as possible.

Doku/Savinho on the wings. High and wide.
Foden in the hole.
Lewis at RB stepping in to midfield to twist the screw.

Stones played 180 mins for England, so I'd expect him to be benched. Gundo/Bernardo was a bit of a coin flip, but Bernardo offers a lot more running and a little more cover on the left if Ait Nouri does manage to spring the press.

Wolves have been dire this season, but have had the international break to work on defensive shape. Going 2-0 City. An early goal, a frustrating hour or so of banging on the door, and a late one to seal it when they start sniffing a chance to hit us on the counter.

Totally agree. While most of their results haven't been great at times Wolves play some good stuff. Fast in transition and the crowd there are always loud and passionate. We are being got at more easily, obviously down to Rodri's absence. The dreaded after the international break game too. We seem to have lost our ability to kill off games by keeping possession and passing teams to death. In fact both Fulham and Brentford for long periods did to us what we often do to others. Still we won both games which is a good sign. Hopefully we're fully back on it soon.
Don’t worry big earl will be on it today.

Probably some iffy moments due to Rodri’s absence which won’t be going away anytime soon, even if we buy in Jan.

1-3 City. Wouldn’t be surprised to see wolves score first.

We really need to put a marker down today and next week.
Tarquins losing yesterday and the Dips play Chelsea before playing the Arse next week.
Agreed.

With Arsenal being beaten yesterday, Liverpool facing Chelsea today and then facing Arsenal next week, This has the potential to be quite a good two weeks for us to but doubt in the minds of our challengers, That's providing we get the job done our end of course which is most important.
