I’ve lived here since 1990 - like a lot of English towns/cities it has gone into a steady decline with shops closing and their flagship department store Beaties now shut. Even worse the council sold off their city centre car parks to NCP so the town centre is empty at weekends. The people are decent and welcoming- perhaps that doesn’t extend to visiting football fans !!What an unwelcoming town this is. No pubs allowing away fans, grey and pissing down to cap it off.
Just the mention of that club brings me out in a cold sweat.Halifax Town ?
On a level with Middlesborough as a football town. What an unwelcoming town this is. No pubs allowing away fans, grey and pissing down to cap it off.
We don't do clean sheets any more. One in the first 7 PL games (Chelsea, opening weekend). Pep's decided to channel his inner KK; "you score 3, we'll score 4"In Rodri’s absence, I can’t say I’m overly confident we will keep too many clean sheets, particularly away from home.
I’ll go for a hard fought 1-3 victory.
