No, I just think he wanted to put the issue to bed. Didn’t want to be asked the same questions at every press conference, when everyone must realise that there’s no chance of the three players returning this season. It was an opportunity for him to declare his faith in the players at his disposal and to play down the absence of the injured players.Anybody think Pep is messing with the media about the injuries?
