Fair enough and you are entitled to that view. Imo we looked a little uncomfortable before the second goal was scored. Newcastle had a few efforts, most notably the 1 ruled offside.

The defence in general this season is giving up chances to the opposition. I am not saying we cant defend, the standards set by John and Ruben last season have been hard to replicate. Fern is a fantastic player and if we need someone to stand up and be counted it is him.

In summary, I don’t think we can get through the next 3 games relying on the defence to shut out the opposition.
We will just have to keep scoring five then

Tough one, again. Wolves have the 4th best defensive record in the Premier League but to counter that they do not score many. That said, it's a cup final for us but an end of season game for them so the motivation and mentality should be with us. Come on Blues, we can do this.

would rodri not better at CB and put ferna in DM? Then if/when ferna tires, we can bring gundo on at DM?

I think you're better off having Rodri at DM on balance. No perfect answer but that's his best position and Fern has played CB more.

Nonsense. The most important game of the season was vs Liverpool. We can draw on Weds and still win the title comfortably. Liverpool will have their minds elsewhere.
Draw and still win comfortably ? Utter nonsense. Liverpool will be desperate to win every game from now on.

If we had a fully fit squad there wouldn't be a problem, but with a makeshift defence I'm not too sure what's going to happen

Yep. Dippers will be fired up. 5 game season for them now, to do something that has never been done by an English team.

They'll be happy we've got defensive injuries.

We've got a 3 game season. Going to be tough, but we've been here before.

There have been fewer goals in Wolves games this season than in any other team's games - by some margin. So grabbing the first goal is going to be even more crucial than usual.
