Wolves fans last night

I felt as though I had inadvertantly stepped onto the set of 'Life on Mars' last night! The ground was shite, ran out of pies and, as most have posted on here, the Wolves fans were stuck somewhere between the '70's and 80's with their shite songs banging of the hoardings above us - FFS - what was that all about!

Having said that - top laugh. Really enjoyed it, I mean where else can you see Scooby Doo, The Invisible Man and Fred Flinstone getting upstaged by a guy with snowman glove puppet!!!!!!

For so long Wolves were a team that we couldn't beat, especially at Molinueux though we beat them in the promotion season under Keegan with a 2- 0 win.

The worst memory being an Easter 1998 2 -2 draw when Margetson dropped one in the goal from a corner.

We've earnt any good time that may come.
I can beat that! Sometime around '81 (ish), we went there and we were something like 4 down at half time. Back then we were stood behind the goal and we were chanting "What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck is going on?" Joe Corrigan just turned around, held out his hands and shrugged his shoulders like "I haven't the foggiest"!

Might be wrong here. But I vaguely remember an FA Cup tie between Newcastle and Wolves at Molineux, when Wolves were in the First Division, and Bellamy was winding the Wolves fans up and pointing to the Premiership logo on his sleeve to try and get a reaction from them! That'll be another reason for their hatred of him, if I'm right that is.

You are right nunogo it was Bellamy. At the time I thought what a bad loser. Now I think what an excellent player who obviously hated losing.

Hey Jimiharri I was at that game too (lost 1-4 81/82). If I recollect correctly I remember Kevin Bond barking orders at Big Joe telling him to hoof it up field or something like that.... Big Joe juat launched the ball walked across to Bond, grabbed him by the collar and "had a quiet word".

Even from where I was sat you could see Bond was crapping himself.

last night was one of my favourite away games great result and peformance made funny by a load of little britain characters in the wolves end ive never heard such a bunch of muppets @ any ground before!

I really dislike Wolves. I'm still incredulous at the site of their fans at a play off semi final at Moulinex holding up a banner stating "you've let us down again". I mean who goes to such a semi final with one of those with you in advance? Surely you go to support your club, not wait for a golden opportunity to berate.

Noobs, the lot of them.
