May be it would be better if we start trusting the young lads a bit more than we do rather than seeking experience heads to deliver all the time, when we have full squad available the young players chances of playing are minimum but that shouldn't be the case now when there is an opportunity to throw in a youngster.

Dino doesnt look comfortable in CB role and Gundogan as a attacking midfielder is just not right. For the quality we possess within our squad we should be fielding a better midfield than we did today, Foden or bernado should have started in Gundogan's role and in defense García or bellis for dino.

Or even our best available player and POTS from last year who was excellent when he came on!

I agree at the back though, get the two young lads in and put Fern in defensive mid

Unfotrunately, I don't think we are about to embark on a long, winning run.

We have too many unathletic players in midfield imo, to balance out a scratch defence with no left back & they are also non scorers.

And Fernandinho is still our best def mid.

It's everything to do with our defence,nico is it! this is so unfair on dinho to expect him to be a cb at his age,gundy is the prob not so much dave,putting 2 kids in as cb's with no experience with them is suicide,gabby has done nothing to warrant a start,you cannot leave out of of the experience and just play kids

I get your points and agree but We have nobody in midfield driving forward which is putting additional pressure on our fragile defence. The balance in midfield is not right which is causing issues in defence

He definitely is.

Rodri has looked absolutely brilliant, in spells.

However, he can’t pass forward a fraction as well as Fern, he’s slow as fuck, he’s made some lazy plays that have cost us (Lamela goal, Laporte injury, Norwich goal from the corner, both goals today came from him giving the ball away), and he has spells even in games where he’s played well where he’s done a disappearing act.

Play the two young lads at the back and put Fern and Bernardo with David in midfield.
