Wolves (H) Post-Match Thread

There's a malaise around the team at the moment. It's always the same for us - you can tell these shite performances within the first 5-10 minutes - we don't seem to be able to ride out those shit spells and get going.

Rodri is a lovely footballer who has started well and might well develop into something special. Today, however, he reminded me of Carrick when Yaya used to run all over him.

Not much point in dissecting the 'performance' too much, but we're getting close to a stage where we have to have think about what this season's for - should we persist with people who have failed us for years or should we finally put a bit of faith in youth? I know which I'd rather and I know which one is more likely

to be fair i kinda agree with what your saying, however

"we persist with people who have failed us for years" - these same players did win the treble last year and the league two years in a row. is that really failing

If Traore is such a fcukin greyhound, why have Ota up against him?

Are our kids really so poor that they deserve so few minutes in serious preparation for when the veterans stall?
Well Pep now has a call to make. Obviously there was more wrong with the side than Ota. Midfield was also static. Aguero was bottled up.

Sadly I have a feeling Pep is going to be stubborn and stick by this side.

We need youth down the core of the side HB/Garcia, Foden, Jesus.

If I was Jesus and Foden I'd be extremely frustrated tonight. They really should be starting and we all know it.

Foden would walk into any other team in the Premier league and i include the Dippers they do not possess a player with his creativity , he should be tearing up the Premier league instead of getting splinters in his arse , we know he's a blue through and through but when he witnesses an inferior player like Mount playing for England , it will come to a head , and he will go.

Hallelujha

A piece of cardboard would do a better job than Otamendi when it comes to defending against through balls. Wolves coach did his homework and identified this as Otamendi’s weakness. It could’ve been 3 or 4-0.

Pep keeps saying that Garcia is ready for the prem but obviously doesn’t think so when picking his team.

It really annoys me that we still have one or two weak links in the team along with a few key injuries, despite having world class players on pretty much all positions. Last year it was Delph and we axed him. The same should have been for Otamendi.
I’m worried this will continue as long as Laporte is out and I struggle to see how we could tackle this problem. Garcia is our only choice. I even trust him more than Stones.

And our best available player who was also sat on the bench and was the only player who earn this wage when he came on!
