You do realise that we dropped 16 points over the course of the whole of last season, and the dippers dropped 17? That's the standard we've set. We don't live in the times when the league was won with 85-90 points anymore.

This and the Norwich game are clear signs that we are just not up to the standards we've set ourselves in the past 2 seasons.

Today Fernandinho looked twice the centre back Otamendi is - his two clearances when Mahrez gifted them a one on one was excellent. Him being in the back four is not the issue, Otamendi is - How many times does The General! dive in, give away soft free kicks and worst of all embarrass the club when he holds his face when lightly touched? We needed him today and he didn't lead the back line at all - once again, he was the reason the game was lost - stay on his feet and there is no easy pass to put Trarore through, end of discussion.

Many true City fans were not happy that Gundo started ahead of Bernie . This was bad enough but imagine that the same Gundo played 90 minutes. I cannot get my head around that one.

It is a simple strategy that a couple of teams have now used against us and it works: double up on the wingers and cut the service from the CDM. Now it is very hard to do when we are at the top of our game but today, we were poor. We were ponderous and they shut Mahrez, Sterling and Rodri out of the game very well. I am afraid that neither Fern or Ota are able to deal with swift counter-attacks which is a consistent vulnerability for us. We have to move the ball swiftly against that system and I am afraid that without KDB and with David approaching the end of his time with us, we are vulnerable. We are a great side, beset with injury and seemingly having to compete against referees as well as Liverpool, who are having all the luck as well as being a very dangerous, relentless opponent. What we need is to stick together and see this out. Come on Blues.

Probably not learning from Norwich with no legs in centre mid. Also for not changing it earlier and at no point not sticking Sterling on the right where he might actually beat a man and create some width that was so badly lacking. Instead we had a fairly like for like sub with Bernado right and leaving Gundogan on and continued to put shit crosses in from 30 yards out towards our 5 foot 8 at best forwards.

Wolves were by far the better team, and should have won by more. Zinchenko & Otamendi are not good enough for City.

Because we're the team to beat.

It's viewed as a moral victory if teams beat us.

Also it's a lot easier to raise your game against us than it is against teams like Burnley, Watford and liverpool.

How?

I think the flip side of taking back possession too early and easily is that you are always pinning 11players back, which suffocate your own space. So you would need a good dose of creativity and pace to unlock the opponents. We don't have that today, very few chances created, not unlike the Norwich match. Common point of these 2 matches is De Bruyne missing from the start. I think we have become a bit dependent on him this season.

How?

Simply because we are the biggest scalp in English football and the champions,it’s like a badge of honour for teams to get a win or draw against us,as we have only lost a handful the last couple of seasons,throw in pep and managers trying to get one over him to add to their cv,then when their next game arrives it’s just not the same desire from that team to get back up to the heights that saw them pull out a result against city ...

He's never been a leader and i think although stones is a bit of a liability these days he would be better alongside fernandinho than ottamendi

Gunda, Mahrez, Otta and Zinch are outstanding 'squad/back up' players. But they are not winning 18 game on the bounce 1st teamers. If our best players are injured then there's not a lot we can do about it. We can childishly slag players off and aggressively abuse them but it's not their fault Kev, Laporte etc are injured and it's not their fault they're not as good as them. Some dicks on here need to grow up and get a grip
