Wolves (H) Post Match Thread

Really enjoyed that game.

Last year, once the oppo scored we'd have folded, but the desire to keep winning and making records have galvanised the team.

There's a steely determination, in the team now, to find another gear.

To drive even harder.

To win.

It's like we're playing in Beast Mode now.

And even better than that, despite running harder and closing down the spaces, there's no anger or frustration between the lads. It's smiles on faces and geeing each other up.

What a team and it's ours, like our city.

To all those numbskulls who doubted Mahrez just give your heads a wobble
You probably wanted gundog out too - just shows pep knows best
I agree the manager knows best, however if a player has a shite game then they're up for some criticism. That said, the Matchday Thread does see emotions ruin high and they do tend to be very vocal. However, players aren't beyond criticism if they don't perform.

Edgehill.......the abuse Mahrez gets pales into insignificance compared to that guy.

Pleased for Jesus to have scored those goals - deserved them tonight and will hopefully do wonders for his confidence.

If he can get him firing then it could be huge for us later in the season.

Also a special mention for Cancelo fighting like a dog for that ball on the half way line - seemed to have a galvanising effect on the team when the game was still in the balance.

Great result but we made hard work of it.

Well done City!!!!

Dirty vermin at the weekend and I hope to fuck we smash the hobbit and his little people into a million pieces...mind that gap now.

Once we went ahead, their heads dropped. They knew to push for a winner and got ripped apart.

Well done City, had me worried at 1-1, no onto the Derby and they will be well up for breaking our streak.

Fuck off VAR
ruining the game, you can't celebrate anymore
You can and you should. Just force yourself to have the mentality to celebrate any goal normally.
The only negative in this is that there is the extra feeling of huge disappointment if they cancel it :)

Mahrez, Cancelo, Rodri, Jesus superb today. Others were also very good. Cancelo should have passed in many situations much faster though when players made a movement in open space.
4 days of rest in this season seems a century so let' shope they will have enough strength left for United.
