Wolves (H) Post Match Thread

Richard Edghill got fierce hammer off a section of so called City fans.
Remember that awful stuff with City fans supposedly making fists to threaten him on the pitch? It was obviously one guy near the front making a fist as Edghill ran past, and shouting "Come on" to encourage him.

We could be winning 4 0 at half time and the match day forum would still have Pep absolutely fuming that we missed a sitter to go 5 0 up.
fixed.

Paul Hince once got two v West Brom (I think) and Allison bollocked him for going for a diving header with his head down instead of looking at the ball and getting his hat-trick.

Sadly I don't think he played again after the Arsenal game in 1967 (championship season) when one reporter said he looked like a ball-boy had strayed onto the pitch.

His favourite story was when playing (for Charlton I think) v. Fulham and George Cohen chopped him down and the referee waved play on and said "England players don't foul".

Advantage to the attacker, bring it back and fuck this farce off.
In a sport where results are determined by GOALS, why is VAR there to rule out the thing that is the point of the sport ?

Ridiculous, and before any of the VAR supporters jump on this, I've said it since it started that VAR should be there to produce more goals, not less.

Exactly, why implement a system that detracts from entertainment?

Its crazyville.

Another win and right on cue the dippers are out in force to state how they are not bothered lol.
One win away from Madrid in 2014.
We need that MotD clip when Shearer said to be a great side, you have to retain the title.

My first City game about Easter 67 as a birthday present,Hince made his debut that day. My worse pressie ever ....

i've noticed this before, Savage has an uncanny eye for offside.

also, after a rocky start to his BT Sport career, he now really likes us.
Savage appeared to like us in the Mancini era, hinting at being a mate of Bobby Manc’s. He seems to have been won back over recently by the sheer quality of football.

Never been a fan of his but he does give us a fair crack of the whip. He was always light on tactical stuff and big on hairdos and teeth. However, he has improved in quality and now either researches better or prepares more thoroughly.

Oh I think Savage did more than hint that he was a pal of Mancini's, which he was from their days together at Leicester.

I don't always agree with Savage's views but he is one of the more entertaining pundits.

Kenny was a little before my time mate so can't really comnent on his situation. I am not surprised though. We always seem to have a whipping boy.

Recently it seems to have been Gundogan. I remember posting about Gundogan when his abuse was at its height, that the only reason people were giving him grief was vecause he was not as good as David or KDB. He was still a million miles better than most other midfielders in the league. Low and behold, David moves away and Gundogan thrives, the abuse stops. People just want a scapegoat and I find it rather sad.
I have a scapegoat in every match. It's the fucker with the whistle.

His kids support us (IIRC).
